Healing Service
Healing Service The Healing Service is where we come together and pray for those who are sick or in need of healing. Our Healing Service provides a nurturing and caring environment in which healing can happen. The greatest healing one can obtain is the reunion or reconciliation with God. When this occurs, one’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health is restored, and relationships are renewed.
Brown Baggers AA

Prayer Shawl Knitters
The Prayer Shawls Knitters have spread prayers and warm to thousands of people through this ministry. Prayer shawls are created by the group and made available to anyone who needs some warmth, care, and love in a time of need. No experience is necessary. There are very talented knitters that will help you to learn how to make prayer shawls, twiddle muffs, and “other cool stuff” with yarn. Meets in a Library the first Saturday of every month. Traditional Rite II Service
Sunday at 8 AM Traditional Service with Holy Communion A traditional Rite II liturgy with hymns and a sermon. We gather at the altar rail for communion.
Contemporary Service
Sunday at 10 AM Contemporary Service with Holy Communion A new approach to the Anglican liturgy in contemporary language with contemporary music. This is an informal family-friendly service. Children may stay for the whole service; or may join the children’s activities and then reunite with their families for Communion.

Lenten Lunch Study
Everyone is Welcome for Lenten Lunches Our tradition of lenten lunches continues. This year, we will take time listening and in discernment for how we can best build relationships and our community. The study agenda is under development. Check back for more information. Lunches are held every Sunday through Palm Sunday. Each meeting will begin with lunch at 11:15am and end at 1:00pm. Vestry Meeting
The Vestry meets monthly to discuss the business and operations of the church. All church members are welcome to attend the meetings. We break bread together promptly at 6:00 pm.
DownSizers Club

Mary ~ Martha Guild
The Fall of 2013 witnessed the creation of a women’s guild that combines spiritual formation through experiencing the ancient Wisdom tradition with a willingness to be of service to St. Peter’s and the wider community. Pizza & Palms
Join us for a chance to visit, break bread (in the form of pizza) and fold palm crosses for the forthcoming Palm Sunday services. This annual event will be held this year in conjunction with the regularly scheduled Mary~Martha Guild meeting. All ladies of St. Peter’s are welcome!
Holy Week: Palm Sunday Procession
Our annual tradition continues as we recall Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. We gather at the church and process through the neighborhood, visiting our neighbor churches, singing hymns, waiving palm branches and joyfully exclaiming ““Hosanna in the highest”. The real star of the show is our guest burro.
Memorial Service – Geraldine Emory
In sure and certain hope of the Resurrection, Geraldine Emory has gone to be with her Savior and the angels. Geraldine “Gee Dee” Emory’s life will be celebrated at St Peter’s on Sunday, April 13 at 2 pm with reception to follow.
Holy Week: Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday We start our Maundy Thursday observance with our version of a Seder meal and foot washing led by Pam Ertel and our youth. Young and old alike are invited to join in. The Thursday in Holy Week. It is part of the Triduum, or three holy days before Easter. It comes from the Latin mandatum novum, “new commandment,” from Jn 13:34. Caregiver’s Exchange Group
The St. Peter’s Caregivers’ Exchange Group provides a caring atmosphere to meet others who understand. They share fellowship, important resources, and help each other navigate the unique challenges of being a caregiver.
