Holy Week: Service of Lament
A Service of Lament allows the congregation to cry out together to God, to lament what cannot be regained, to release what no longer serves, to hear again God’s promise, and to give thanks for God’s steadfast love. St. Peter’s will hold a service of lament at 7 p.m. on Holy Saturday. Lay Ministry Training
All members of St. Peter’s are invited and encouraged to serve in a lay capacity. This can take many forms, from reading prayers of the people or the lessons during the services, to assisting the Rector and Deacon at the altar, and to delivering the Eucharist to those that cannot attend church in person.
